ARTIST OF THE MONTH: SHEA

ARTIST OF THE MONTH: SHEA

We’re excited to present SHEA as this month’s featured artist! SHEA has been lighting up Japan’s graffiti scene since 2018, and she's one of the few female artists making waves in the country’s urban art world. Based in Kansai, SHEA’s murals are all about vibrant, girly characters with funky, wavy hairstyles, pulling inspiration from manga, pop culture, and classic throw-up graffiti styles.

Her work is super playful and unmistakable, often blending bright colors with quirky characters that bring a bit of fun to everyday city life. SHEA’s pieces can be found in unexpected urban spaces, adding a unique vibe wherever they appear.

This week, SHEA teamed up with Totemo for an exclusive collection drop! The new collection translates her signature graffiti style—those cute characters and bold, wavy lines—onto apparel and accessories. It’s the perfect way to bring her street art into everyday fashion, and we’re loving it.

Check out SHEA’s work and her latest collection on Totemo!

TONA "Takayama"

In DESTRUCTION IS THE NEW CREATION, this exclusive collection of 6 pieces, TONA captures himself destroying several original physical artworks, leaving only the newer “digital” product. Using this method, the artist guarantees that there’s only one unique artwork that can’t be replicated in the future. TONA feels this process truly captures the natural process of street art destruction, stating “Destruction - normally through time, street art pieces degrade into something totally unique, even more than the original art itself. The key is to take the beauty and speed up the process of time”.
